📊 KCSE School Performance Predictor Tool
The KCSE School Performance Predictor is a data-driven tool designed for teachers, principals, and administrators to evaluate and forecast school performance trends.
🔹 How it Works
-
You enter the Year and the corresponding Mean Score for up to 10 years.
-
Optionally, you can also provide the Number of Candidates for each year.
-
If the system detects at least 3 years with candidate entries, it automatically switches to a stronger regression model (weighted by candidate numbers).
-
Otherwise, it applies a standard linear regression model based on Year and Mean Score only.
🔹 Why Use It?
✅ Helps administrators analyze school performance trends.
✅ Provides an evidence-based projection of future KCSE mean scores.
✅ Allows comparison of past performance with predicted outcomes.
✅ Generates both a numerical prediction and a graphical representation of performance trends.
✅ Offers an option to download the prediction graph as an image, making it easy for teachers and administrators to include in reports and presentations.
🔹 Requirements
-
Compulsory: School Name, Phone Number.
-
Optional: Email.
-
Data Entry: At least two years of data must be provided for prediction.
🔹 Output
-
The tool immediately displays:
-
The Predicted Mean Score for the next KCSE exam.
-
The Equivalent KCSE Grade.
-
A trend graph showing past and projected performance.
-
An option to download the graph as an image for documentation and sharing.
