1. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH CONFIDENT PEOPLE
You are more likely to be confident if your friends are confident. Your friends more often than not reflect who you are. If you want to believe in yourself, which is very important, surround yourself with people who believe in themselves and chances are you will believe in yourself too.
2. GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Challenge yourself by trying new unfamiliar things. Try a new hobby, change your circle of friends. Your current friends might be the reason you are stuck in life. They may be the reason for your low self-esteem.
Remember if you want something you’ve never had, you’ve got to do something you’ve never done. Every new thing seems hard in the beginning, but take it step by step and you will be surprised at how far you can go. Get out of your comfort zone!
3. LEARN TO COMPLIMENT YOURSELF
Look in the mirror everyday and say five good things about yourself. For example, i am beautiful/handsome, I am an achiever, I am confident, I am a bright student, I am hardworking, I am kind-hearted, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Slowly all these things will manifest in your life and you will see your life changing for the better.
If you have been telling yourself negative things then stop today because you are beautifully and wonderfully made no matter what others say. God made you that way for a reason so be proud of yourself and believe in yourself because if you can believe it then you can become it!
4. READ INSPIRATIONAL BOOKS
Let what you read help you get there. If you are not a novel fan then you can watch inspirational documentaries. Feed your mind with positive things and positivity will manifest in your life.
Personally i am a huge fan of inspirational books. They  make you see life in a whole different way. As you learn from peoples experiences you believe more in your ability to achieve great things.
Self- confidence is what separates those who make it in this life from those who don’t. You learn to stand your ground no matter what others say. If you lack confidence you will be swayed easily hence it will be very difficult to achieve your goals in this life.
Volunteer to help out in church or any organisation. In this way you will meet new people who will push you to open up. You may find yourself working in a group or addressing a group.
Your confidence will grow more when you are working with new people, listening to new ideas and in that way you will be expected to contribute new ideas as well. That way you will be pushing yourself to a new level of confidence.
Prepare yourself. If you have an exam prepare in advance, if you have to speak publicly then prepare yourself. Preparation builds confidence. It will be difficult to walk in an exam room and be confident in yourself if you did not study. In the same way it will be difficult to give a speech if you did not prepare yourself adequately.
Self confidence takes the place of panic in any situation and panic is mostly brought about by the fear of inadequacy. Self confidence is saying, i have nothing to be afraid of, i am well prepared, i am well equipped and ready to conquer.
Most importantly pray about it. I believe that no goal is too big or too small to include God. If you want to be more confident, you need to go to God first and ask Him to help you. He will bring people into your life to guide you in that direction.
May you grow to be more and more confident each day.
